RJ ARPIT 

"किसी चीज़ को अगर सिद्दत से चाहो तो, सारी कायनात उसे मिलाने में लग जाती है " 

What may seem like just a movie dialogue was turned into reality by RJ Arpit from Udaipur. This is the story of an 18-year-old boy’s dream, which began six years ago while driving around in a car. He told his family, "Just like you hear voices on the radio, one day, you will hear mine too." And with that, a dream was born, setting him on a journey to make it come true.

RJ Arpit was born on September 28, 1996, in a middle-class family in Mavli, a town in Udaipur district. His father, Praveen Kumar Jain, is a government teacher, and his mother, Saroj Jain, is a homemaker. After completing his early education in Mavli, he moved to Udaipur for higher studies. He completed his 12th grade in commerce from Guru Nanak Public School, Udaipur, followed by a bachelor's degree in commerce and law from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, and later, a master's degree in law.

His passion for writing poetry and stories soon turned him into a skilled stage host, though reaching the stage was just the beginning. Arpit then decided to try his luck in radio and visited various radio stations in pursuit of his dream. However, destiny had other plans, and he faced rejection after rejection.

After three years of relentless effort, disappointment set in, and he decided to step away from radio. Around that time, after completing his law degree, he was selected as an officer in the Human Resources Department of Hindustan Zinc, a Vedanta Group company. He worked there for nearly a year, but deep down, he felt that this was not his true calling. With this realization, he resigned from his job—a decision that many questioned. "You left such a good job, what will you do next?" people asked. Despite the uncertainty, his family remained supportive and encouraged him to move forward with positivity.

Restarting from scratch was difficult but not impossible. Just then, an internship opportunity opened up at 94.3 My FM in Udaipur, bringing him back to the world of radio. He applied, got selected, and began learning the ropes of the radio industry. He dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the work. During this time, the difficult phase of the lockdown arrived, but he remained steadfast in his pursuit. He even worked with a local TV channel in Udaipur and acted in an advertisement for a major online education company.

After gaining experience for about a year and a half, he applied for the position of Radio Jockey at 95 FM Tadka in Udaipur and got selected. Today, he hosts the show Udaipur Local on 95 FM Tadka, fearlessly voicing the city's latest updates, issues, and concerns of the common people.

RJ Arpit strongly believes: "Whatever you do, do it with hard work and honesty, because even if you don't succeed, you will learn valuable lessons that will help you at every stage of life."
